Prescrubber Dust Collectors
D. R. Technology offers various Cyclone and MultiCyclone designs to be used upstream of our particulate scrubbers in situations such as those depicted in the photographs.
Particulate scrubbing such as impingement tray or venturi should only be used on sizes 10 micron or smaller. Venturis are best used when part of the particle sizes are less than one micron. If an emission contains particulate both sized above and below 10 micron size, a prescrubber dry cyclone dust collector may be a logical choice to save scrubber water use and potential erosion and plugging.
